The Energy Problem

rw0213fea-trd_21

If your day is like mine, you feel drained of energy.

We live by energy. The more you think about it, the more tired you feel. We get up early, we workout, we eat breakfast, we do schoolwork, and etc. This would be fine, except we don’t have time.

Most people don’t have the luxury of planning their schedule. We have a routine and stick to it because it’s easier than chaos.

The problem is humans aren’t simple. People aren’t robots. They want a social life, recreation, sex, drugs, money, adventure, and knowledge among many things.

But we feel like we don’t have the time, let alone the energy.

How do we program our energy to match our desires?

More importantly, if you leave the house at 7 A.M. and don’t get home until 11 P.M. how do you have time for anything? People ask this same question to advice columnists EVERYDAY.

Surprisingly, the answer is simple. Well, simple-ish.

You match your energy to an activity. I’ve found when you schedule your activities based on energy level you’ll be much happier.

For example, my creative energy is highest at night and so that’s when I’ll write. Or maybe, my strength and testosterone are highest in the morning and so I’ll workout then.

The idea that you’ll get a hot girlfriend or make a million dollars by following the path of conventionalism is laughable. The world owes you nothing.

That being said, I’ve noticed that successful people in my life and in general usually have a habit and stick to it. Maybe that’s working out first thing everyday or reading a new book a week.

And hell man, I’m just some 18 year old. I’ve been an adult for less than 3 months. DON’T follow my advice religiously because I’m no genius and happy to admit that. However, it’s up to you to find your energy levels and and pursue activities to strengthen them.

I’ve found this works well for me. I hope it works for you, too.

How To Troll The World

51zelntyudl

I just finished reading ‘Trust Me, I’m Lying’ by Ryan Holiday. It might be my new favorite book. Not because of the writing. The book is a masterpiece because of its information.

I’ll sum it up for you.

You might think news sites produce stories based on fact. You’re dead wrong. In fact, it’s the total opposite and every blogger knows it.

Subscriptions are gone and sites fight to the death for your attention. Which means, if you know how to manipulate bloggers, you can manipulate news.

In terms of news, the worst thing is no response. You want people engaged because engaged people drive traffic and traffic drives money. That’s the bottom line.

I’m more than happy to post a ridiculous blog title if I’ll make money. Some might say that’s wrong. But don’t forget, if I’m a news site and want money, I’ll make money.

Almost every social media star is a media manipulator. Don’t kid yourself. You don’t attract supporters and haters by finding common ground. You do it by being outrageous.

I’m sure you’ve already seen this online. These folks have learned the value of controversy. They thrive off it. Some call them narcissistic, but their bank accounts call them rich.

I highly recommend reading ‘Trust Me, I’m Lying’ by Holiday.

So much so, I’ll include an Amazon link below so you can buy it.

Best of luck.

Internet Celebrities Will Dominate Politics

Think back to when a talk show host, movie star, or musician got political with their audience. Maybe it’s a video, tweet, or something else. Jimmy Kimmel’s oscar prologue about Trump comes to mind.

Did they persuade you? How many people did they reach?

We can slap a number on this. For example, we know PewDiePie’s reach because he has 54 million subscribers. When he gave his response video to the Wall Street Journal’s allegations of anti-semitism, he mentioned the “mainstream news” and how they’re horrible.

Now, I bet that influenced a lot of people, especially on that topic . And the more you think about how many 54 million is, the more you acknowledge how much weight they pull in their community. Chances are, there’s a 14 year old outside talking to friends about how horrible the media has been.

Amplify that by 53 million, give or take a few.

THAT is star power.

You might wonder how this will impact politics. But don’t forget, it wasn’t long ago when politicians bribed Hollywood stars like companies. In fact, they still do it regularly.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

“Hey, you there! Go buy/vote for this person/thing like I do!” It’s that simple. It’s all a monetization game and companies (and candidates) know this. The only thing that’s changed is the platform.

Can you imagine the tsunami of support? By having a major Twitter personality support you, you’d literally control how people think. And yes, I do mean literally.

In short, you can expect the 2020 and 2024 elections to be directed by online support more than anything else. The driving force won’t be debates or policies. It will be a campaign centered around memes, jokes, and celebrity reinforcements in the digital world.
It sounds totally awesome.
